Byenvini an Sent Lisi
Courtney Greene

Nov 15 - 19, 2022

Gallery 1

Undergraduate exhibitor

As a St. Lucian artist, Greene sets out to encapsulate her country’s culture in the oil paintings of Byenvini An Sent Lisi (Welcome to Saint Lucia). The aim of this exhibition is to depict scenes from the island from the perspective of the citizens as compared to the more commonly seen touristic, tropical, “Caribbean paradise” viewpoint. It shows not just the beauty, but the true culture.
