For this group exhibition, local artists (in and outside of the NSCAD community) are invited to submit unfinished works to highlight and celebrate the many leftovers or scrapped works that can accumulate in a studio practice. Seeking to explore myriad processes and approaches that artists have, Scraps will only include "incomplete" or preliminary works. Curated by Cortney S. Cassidy, this exhibition will showcase the unsung heroes of studio work, and give viewers a glimpse into the unique ways that rough work helps us in the creation process.
