SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Colleen MacIsaac

Website @LittleFoible

Mar 21 - Apr 1, 2023

Gallery 3

MFA Thesis exhibition

Over the course of 94 weeks spent in the NSCAD MFA program, MacIsaac has devised 94 experiments - each posing a question. This iterative list of investigations forms the materials for a series of performances, documentations, installations, interventions, events, collaborations, and conversations. Rooted in the ephemeral ‘now’, these experiments wonder at performance’s ability to hold conflicting meanings, while contemplating the possibilities of shared encounters. Tracing the experience of moving through an institution rooted in time and place, Subject to Change is a kaleidoscopic collection which uses the methodologies of curiosity and play to dynamically engage with its audience.
