Gallery 1

Undergraduate exhibitor

Using oil paint on canvas to improvise figures and cityscapes, this exhibition explores the relationship between people and spaces, and the personality that accumulates in these spaces overtime. Taking inspiration from figurative paintings by artists such as Jennifer Pochinski and Francis Bacon, along with notes and sketches jotted down from the artists daily life, these works exaggerate the personification of places and spaces.
