About her exhibition, Autumn Star offers:
"Pretty Please is a show that balances drawing and sculpture.
The themes of the artwork play into thoughtful and feminine insight of process, colour and material that is used to invite often impolite or awkward emotions like longing, rage, regret, relief, humour in tragedy.
The word pretty is used as an arbitrary form of measurement.
Pretty close, pretty much, pretty far: relatively, quite, fairly, something, rather, somewhat,
Pretty Please is a poetic & visual handling of these between spaces.
Mind and matters at hand, the art out-paces"
