“To create storytellers, you must first tell a story of your own.”
Alexandra Buțu exhibits her first ever collection of mixed-media sculptures and large-scale photographs of her illustrations. With a focus on themes of reminiscence, legends, myths, and etymology, she selected some of her writing from her in-progress novel, "Tales of Alatzar," took the words off the pages and gave them life in a language that all who see can read. Viewers are invited to explore the art of visual versus literal storytelling, compare interpretations, and to become storytellers of their own.
