WORKSHOP: Sydney Wreaks, Beading berries manifesting medicines; Dreaming the Land

Thursday, Oct 19 20233 - 5pm

Anna Leonowens Gallery

You are invited to participate in a beading circle continuing the practice of manifesting medicine and connections through beading. Strawberries are of importance to many Indigenous Cultures, so let’s gather to bead berries! We offer strawberry prints on canvas and embroidery hoops and beading supplies.
Spend two hours together, do as little or as much beading as you’d like and leave with your very own beaded strawberry. Facilitated by Sydney Wreaks (they/them)located inMi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq peoples. Govern under the Peace and Friendship Treaties, we are all Treaty People.
