Etlitoq: Indigenous Artists' Pop-Up Market

Saturday, Apr 15 202311am - 5pm

NSCAD Port Campus, 1107 Marginal Rd.

UPCOMING POP-UP MARKETS

The NSCAD Treaty Space Gallery is excited to host Etlitoq: Indigenous Artists’ Pop-Up Market in partnership with Anna Leonowens Gallery, CiMADE Lab, CEL, and SUNSCAD. This market will occur in conjunction with upcoming SUNSCAD and CEL pop-ups.

Join us on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 from 11AM-5PM at the NSCAD Port Campus (1107 Marginal Rd) for this market featuring Indigenous vendors from across Mi’kma’ki and beyond. Each of these talented vendors create unique, handcrafted pieces through contemporary and traditional practices such as basketry, beadwork, quillwork, wood burning, pottery, and more.

Did you know? Etlitoq (e·dê·li·dohk) is a Mi’kmaw word meaning “she/he/they makes it”. Stay tuned! Vendor applications for Etlitoq will be available Tuesday, January 31 at 1PM AST via Instagram, NSCAD email, and our website.
